Clear blue skies and cool air caused us to make a trip to the Albuquerque zoo. Nothing like a beautiful October day, a few frisky animals, and great friends to make one's day special.
The polar bears gave us a show while they swam and played.
This bear finally tired out.
A burrowing owl made Chloe's cuteness meter go off the charts. "He's SO CUTE!!!!"
Mr. Gorilla knows how to pose for the camera.
Do you know what a pinniped is? These three do! They've been learning about them in their science class, so feel free to ask them what one is. (Hint: They are posing near one.)
Chloe loved feeding the baby duck. His slippery little webbed feet couldn't seem to get enough traction on the cement.
A peacock decided to nose into the duck feeding frenzy.

I've never thought about an owl being cute. Guess I'll have to see it through Chloe's eyes. : )
