Camp Adventure 2014

El Porvenir Christian Camp 2014

Mentally encouraging.  Emotionally uplifting.   Physically taxing.  Spiritually challenging.
Always worth it in the end.

Allison walking the high ropes course like a perfectly poised ballerina.

While Allison was balancing like a pro, Chloe got a turn at the climbing wall.

This year, she braved the zip line.  Here she is, smile on her face, at the bottom.

My turn at the climbing wall.

Zip line here I go!

Allison's trek across the tight rope and log rewarded her with a zip line ride as well.

While all this activity was going on, I totally missed Abby's "leap of faith".  She climbed up a twenty foot telephone pole, balanced herself on the top of it and jumped to an awaiting trapeze bar.  Still can't believe I missed that!!  No picture to show for it, but way to go Abby!!

While Allison balanced, and Abby leaped, and Chloe and I climbed, Kyle and Grant were rappelling down the mountain side.  They survived.  They loved it.  I'm hoping to get some video loaded on soon.

Day #2 found me needing some relaxation in the afternoon.

The three amigos came along too.

All the rain the previous week gave us a beautiful scenic treat.

Kyle and I at the top of Sunrise Peak where he and Grant rappelled down the day before.

Looking forward to Camp Adventure 2015!
