Abby's birthday fell on Easter Sunday this year. A friend shared with me that Easter falling on the 5th of April is somewhat rare. The trivia states that it happened five times in the 1700's, five times in the 1800's, three times in the 1900's, occurred in 2015 and will again in the year 2026. So, Abby girl, you celebrated your 17th birthday on Easter and will again celebrate your birthday on Easter when you turn 28. The trivia explains that the last time it happened prior to April 5, 2015 was in 1953! Well, yesterday was a wonderful double celebration full of family and friends, and we couldn't be more blessed. Happy Birthday Abby!!
We took our usual backyard pictures after the Resurrection Sunday services. Hmm... Seems that Dad needs to be taller than 14 year old son.
Well, those years have gone with the spring winds. It takes a little stump standing to get taller than your boy now.
Need to measure Grant again soon. Even without that stand-up hair in the front, he's definitely taller.
I won't even pretend. He passed me up a long time ago.
Was fun to pretend with the girls though.....
Chloe still has a few inches to go before she beats me in the height wars.
