Depressed but Mischievious Cat

All four of my children have been in Las Cruces this week spending time with their grandparents, aunt and uncle, and cousins. I should have sent Snickers to Nana's too! She's depressed, whiny, and getting into mischief. Now the mischief part I'm convinced is solely to gain my attention which she feels she is not getting enough of.

Part of her day has been spent this week lying around moping.

And when she isn't meowing at me (something she rarely does when the kids are home), she is sneaking around the kitchen and laundry room counters and has figured out how to open up the cabinets--both of which are big no-no's for a cat in our house.

Suffice it to say, Kyle and I aren't the only ones who are missing the kids this week!
