Today marked our first official day of the new school year. We are starting with science and math, and we will ramp up the rest of the subjects over the next two weeks.
Allison did great on her readiness test. A little review is needed, but then Algebra, here we come!

Abby began her first real science book. We started with learning to outline and take notes from the text. She did great on her first lesson!
Chloe, Grant and I studied a little in their new Biology curriculum. First topic up--animals!
Chloe seemed a little less than enthused about her first day, and by lunch time she was down. Poor thing spent her first day of first grade with a fever. :(

No, but Grant had the same thing last week. Fever and headache for about 24 hours and then they are fine. Chloe is already much better tonight.
