Gather your supplies: 1 white cake mix, 6 colors of gel food coloring, 6 bowls, and a baking pan.
Enlist a few helpers.
Mix the cake according to the package directions. Divide the cake batter into 6 equal parts. Dye each part a different color of the rainbow.
Blob the cake batter into the pan. Be careful not to stir it--just blob it all into the pan.
Shake the pan lightly to even out the batter. Isn't it pretty?
Bake the cake. Then, frost it with your favorite frosting.
This cake screams fun!

Fun and Easy Frosting Recipe
1 small box chocolate or vanilla instant pudding mix
1 cup milk
1/4 cup powdered sugar
8 oz Cool Whip whipped topping
Mix the pudding mix, milk, and 1/4 cup powdered sugar until well combined. Fold in Cool Whip whipped topping. Frost and enjoy!
