Four years of Christmas Joy. The Lord allowed Allison to dance in Christmas Joy again this year for the fourth time. Since the goal of this ballet intends to glorify God in every dance, it is unlike any other ballet performance I've ever seen. From the opening number "No Eye Has Seen" to the closing number "Amen", the show tells the story of the birth of Christ and why He came--to save sinners from their sin.
How much fun Allison had this last week! Keeping with tradition, she gave gifts to the high school dancers. What would Allison's "Christmas Joy" be like without cupcakes? She made chocolate cut-out cookies and decorated each one a little differently. She did get some help from Abby who graciously helped when time ran short.
Flowers, flowers, and more flowers! Our house is full them now after the show.
