I remember when this photo was taken sometime in the spring of the year 2000.  Allison had a matching dress that I had made for the girls that year to wear on Easter Sunday morning.  I usually had their pictures taken together, but this time, I wanted individual pictures of the girls too.  In going through all the photos in preparation for Abby's graduation, we were glad to find a young picture of her by herself!  Even at two Abby had tons of hair!  And all those curls?  Completely natural.

Yesterday, we celebrated her 18th birthday.  I cannot believe how fast the time has gone.  In just a week and a half, she will graduate.

She requested that Allison make her "plain" cupcakes--yellow cake with chocolate frosting; her favorite.  Allison isn't thrilled about any cupcake that's not fancy, but we all thought these were perfect, and Abby was delighted with them.

Happy birthday to my sweet, beautiful, grown-up daughter!  We are looking forward to how the Lord directs you in the coming year.
