Weekly Report: Spring Fever

Our week was crammed full of beautiful weather! Is it really still winter?! I'm sure old man winter will rear his ugly head again, but we are indeed thankful for this week. We played tennis, some of the kids roller bladed, and my car got clean! Oh, and we did do a little school this week too--math, science, reading, writing... the usual. Below are few of the highlights.

This week, Chloe and Grant added the muscles and bones to their body outline.

Chloe grabbing a chicken bone out of a jar full of vinegar

Our bone felt hard and tough going in, but was soft and flexible coming out!

Grant thought it felt weird! The vinegar took all the minerals out of the bone thus rendering it soft and pliable. We learned that we need minerals to keep our bones strong and healthy.

The kids washed my car (Wow, was it ever dirty!), so BAMSproductions earned a little money for it's next movie.

And, we finished Adara, a wonderful story about General Naaman's slave girl who told him about the prophet Elisha and his God, and how God could heal Naaman's leprosy. The book really brought the story to life for us!

Have a great weekend everyone!
