While the public schools in town enjoyed spring break this week, the Bamberg household continued on with school. We've already played too much!
Grant and Chloe learned about the human heart and lungs. (Lungs will get glued on soon.)
We also enjoyed a couple of books about the human body.
Allison and I finished Shakespeare's A Comedy of Errors this week! We were proud of ourselves for getting through it and understanding it as much as we did. We did get a little help from Shakespeare for Dummies which I picked up at our library. We both were surprised by how much we laughed through this book. We really enjoyed it!
Allison added several recipes to her blog, so check that out for some delicious treats!
This week, everyday after the completion of school, the kids worked hard on their pinewood derby cars. I'm always amazed at their creativity. What they can do with a block of wood!
Rough draft stage
Allison's is starting to take shape. Any guesses on this one?
Abby working diligently and painstakingly
What do you think it is?
Grant's car: If you can't tell this is a banana…..
Chloe just loves the Little House series by Laura Ingalls Wilder, so her car reflects the peppermint candy sticks the Ingall's children always seemed to get in their stockings at Christmas time.
The race is tomorrow. I'll post more pictures of the finished cars later.
Have a good weekend everyone!
