Friday. How could this day already be our fifth day in Hawaii and getting closer to the end of our stay in paradise? This Friday on Maui, we felt the pressure to do everything we could for tomorrow would be Saturday and our last day here.
Kyle started the day by waking Allison, Abby, and Grant up early, gearing everyone up with snorkel equipment, and heading to the beach. Once everyone got the hang of breathing through the snorkel tube, they witnessed some amazing sights. Brightly colored fish and sea turtles swim close enough to the shore that they needed only to swim out just far enough to enjoy the underwater view.

| Snorkeling sight. The fish and turtles seemed more abundant around the rocks. The tallest rock on the right side of this picture, where you can see people on the top, is where Kyle, Allison, Abby, and Grant all went cliff jumping! |
As soon as the snorkelers arrived back at the condo, we got ready for the day's big event that included all 15 of us. Parasailing!! The boats held only 12 at a time, so Tim, Debbie, and Stephanie parasailed after the rest of us.

Allison and Chloe are now 1200 feet high. Nice view!

Not sure if Luke and Abby want to be the next pair up!

 |
Whew! I think they are having fun.

Grant and JM. Grant slipped slightly out of his harness, so his legs look way longer than JM's. Ha!

The next activity needed to be lunch as everyone felt the pangs of hunger. We walked across the street to the shops at Lahaina and decided to eat at the Cool Cats Cafe where nine out of the 15 of us wisely chose the "Don Ho" burger. Imagine tender, juicy beef topped with Maui gold pineapple, and the most delicious sauce dripping out of a fluffy bun and you have imagined a Don Ho burger. I want another one. Right now.
Stuffed with Don Ho burgers and other good eats, we made our way back to the condo to get cleaned up. Tonight's agenda? A dinner cruise. None of us were sure after eating that scrumptious burger at Cool Cats that we would be able to eat another thing, but the dinner cruise food proved tasty and somehow we all managed. The boat cruised us along the island as the hot sun shone down on us, but as the evening wore on, we watched the sun set and the stars come out. Venus and Jupiter, rising closer together every night, had been stunning us with their beauty the entire trip. Seeing the planet pair over the Pacific Ocean brought a perfect day to a perfect end.
