Today, we all drove to Paia to hike to Twin Falls. Having hurt my back the day before, this picture was as close as I was going to get. Kyle and the kids hiked all the way to the falls and swam in and around them. When they all got back, they reported that the falls were beautiful and the water too cold for me anyway. :)
One of my favorite things about Maui, however, came right after the falls and after eating delicious wood fired pizza in Paia. Or was it after the delicious fruit smoothie drink we had right outside of the falls? Well, anyway, this little beach was amazing to me.

| The wildlife here are protected by volunteers and a roped off area. |

| But, we could get close enough to feel like we could touch them and get some great photos. |

| This little guy came to see me during breakfast on day #4 in Maui. He really isn't all that special, I guess, but I thought his feathers were so bright and pretty! |
