Grant and I have stumbled upon another great book. Very sad that our year of reading through the Chronicles of Narnia had ended, we browsed the shelves at the library unsure that anything would capture our attention like Narnia. A friend recommended the Redwall Series, by Brian Jacques, so we decided to give it a try. Don't be frightened away by the book's length, or small print--just get out those reading glasses and go for it! The book is well worth the effort. We think that all children will enjoy the Redwall series, but it is especially intriguing to boys. We are currently reading the second book in the series, Mossflower. Caution: Don't watch the video, "Redwall"! Your brain will thank you if you read the book first.
