Around this time of year, I start thinking about my own childhood egg hunts. I think about the brightly colored plastic eggs filled with treats, of course. But, I also think about lovely warm weather, green grass, blooming wild flowers, colorful butterflies, and yellow sunshine. Well, the brown desert of Albuquerque won't offer quite the same memories for my children, but we had a wonderful time in the warm sunshine anyway!

Only in New Mexico could I hide eggs in a tumbleweed!

I think little miss Chloe liked those ones too! ;-)
I can remember some of your Easter Sundays visiting grandparents in north Texas and it was very cold but the egg hunt didn't get canceled. Easter Sundays were always nice and warm here in southeast Texas.
