Chloe has been learning a new verse to recite in her Adventures class on Wednesday night. The story on Wednesday will be about King Nebuchadnezzar's pride and how God turned him into a wild animal for 7 years to humble him. Today, Chloe decided to use her newly memorized verse to her advantage.
Chloe: Abby? Would you give me one of your stickers?
Abby: No Chloe, not right now.
Chloe: (very irritated) Abby! You're not supposed to be proud. Besides, my Bible verse says, "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."!
Mmmm..... I think I need to work a little more on the meaning of pride.

Mmmm, yes I can remember a little girl informing her mother of the meaning of scripture. I won't go into detail but the mother quoted "children obey your parents" and the quick witted little one replied the Bible also says "be ye kind". Kids are so cute and grow up so fast.
