Weekly Report

Another week down! Grant and Chloe have been learning about color theory from my book How to Teach Art to Children. They made collages by cutting out warm and cool colors they found in old magazines.

This week's Sketch Tuesday was to sketch a sunset using oil pastels.

We are almost finished with Moccasin Trail, our current history read aloud. This book has had us on the edge of our seats for most of the book! The last two chapters are no less exciting. We can't wait to find out how it ends!

Chloe's all time favorite fall book from the many we've read so far is Autumn Story by Jill Barklem. If you are looking for a picture book for a little one with rich language and a good story, you might try this one!
