Elephant Ears

Today, Chloe and I had time for a little baking while the big kids volunteered their time at the church getting ready for Sunday's big "ministry day". Chloe grabbed her Alpha-Bakery cookbook and chose the letter "E" for Elephant Ear cookies.

She measured the flour,

"painted" butter on the dough,

and sprinkled cinnamon and sugar over the top.

Ready to bake!

Well, they did turn out really good, so maybe I should have posted the recipe! If you can read the ingredients list, it is basically to mix everything, roll into a rectangle, brush on the butter, sprinkle on the cinnamon and sugar, roll up, slice, and bake at 425 for 8 to 10 minutes.

Wow Chloe. You are getting to be quite a good cook like your big sisters and your mommy. Why didn't you make those when I was out there?
