We got our school year off to a good start. We enjoyed our sunflowers and did a great project with them which I posted on Without Excuse.
We stayed up entirely too late for a school night watching the kids' latest movie that they took all summer to film. I must say, this one was better than the first one!
Grant and Chloe did an art lesson on shapes and outlines.
Wednesday night, we took the kids to the park and to Pop Pop's for dessert, and stayed out entirely too late again for a school night. We went to an Isotopes game Thursday night, and well, it was another late night. Somewhere in between all the late nights, we did manage to get math, spelling, grammar, literature, and history up and running again. The week turned out well although we probably enjoyed ourselves too much!
