Sketch Tuesday

This year, I am determined to help my kids improve their drawing skills. I think they draw great already, but I want them to keep practicing so they don't lose what they've already learned. So, for part of our practice, we are participating in Sketch Tuesday this year. Barb of Harmony Art Mom hosts Sketch Tuesday on her blog. She tells the kids what to sketch each week, and she posts their drawings the following week. The kids seemed to have fun with this one today. Today's assignment: Draw something that lives underground.

The above is a picture of the drawings they did today.

This one is a better picture of Allison's drawing.

Keep up the good work kids. You are all exceptional kids and I don't think I'm prejudiced just because I'm your grandmother!

We do Sketch Tuesdays occasionally. It's a great practice opportunity. I like the structure Barb offers with a topic.
